First of all, it's important to appreciate that, left to their own devices, many employees won't take the opportunity to watch the videos on their own to develop their own communication skills as they may not believe they need to.

However, it is essential that everyone does watch the videos and the best way to achieve this is to watch each video together, in a small group.
 

After watching the video, have a short discussion about...

• how they felt about the content
• have they had a real-life situation where the learning could have been useful
• in what circumstances could they use what they have learned.

It is recommended that one video should be watched every two weeks and before watching the next video, nominate one of the group to summerise the learnings from the last video and to talk through any circumstances where they have used it.

If possible, consider instigating  some role-playing or an interactive workshop to embed the learning.

Integrate the learned skills into your every day activity and, where appropriate, incorporate into personal development plans.
